Pollard House

Pollard House mosaic

The mosaic was commissioned by Peabody to brighten up a dull corridor used by all the residents of Pollard House, London, N1. The artist worked closely with the Residents Society to develop a design that reflected their ideas, and linked to the lovely courtyard garden within the flats. Passion flowers, wisteria and a colourful mix of anemones ‘grow’ across the walls, on a trellis of mirror that hints of the iconic architecture of Kings Cross station, which is just around the corner. Residents participated to help making the mosaic, and the end result brings lots of smiles on a daily basis.
